Daddy and Daughter Days

Chloe was home this week. . she came down with the croup on Sunday night. Fortunately, she wasn't too sick, despite a 104 degree temp on Monday. I stayed home with her Monday and Tuesday, and Craig took Wednesday and Thursday. By Thursday, Chloe was feeling much better, and decided to use all her pent up energy terrorizing the dog.

I couldn't resist comparing these two photos - taken almost exactly a year apart.

Aside from having the croup, the little bean cut her two top molars this week - - at least that is what I'm guessing. We didn't even know, and I spotted one today and then found another. Guess all the motrin and tylenol she was getting for her fever helped her with her teeth too. Gotta love that.

We took Chloe to Peacock Lane tonight to see the Christmas lights. She wasn't too impressed. I'm thinking it will be a bigger hit next year.

Annual Christmas Pictures

We took our annual Christmas pictures yesterday. It's a bit comical trying to get both Chloe and Zak to "smile" at the same time. I think we got a few good shots. My, how she has changed from last year.

Christmas Trees

Each year we go with our friends Kama, Joe, Ella and Max to the Red Shed to get our Christmas trees. This year, Chloe had a great time playing with Ella and Max at the tree farm. Maybe next year we'll venture to a cut your own farm in the snow somewhere. . though I usually love the first tree I see at the Red Shed so it does make it easy.

We decorated the tree this morning so we can take our annual Christmas photo later today. I bought Chloe the cutest little Santa outfit to wear. Big change from last year. She had a little Christmas outfit which Craig and his mom dressed her up in. Neither of them realized that there were snaps on both the bottom and top, so I don't even want to imagine what it took to get her in it.

St. Nick

We went with some friends and their 16 month old daughter Franny so the girls could see Santa. It was at the Belmont Fire Station, which is now a fire musuem. Both girls loved loved playing with the fire poll. Neither girl was very excited to see Santa. .maybe next year.

It snowed today. . and Chloe enjoyed getting bundled up and playing outside.
