Potty Talk

We haven't been "pressuring" Ms. Chloe about using the potty. . but we do talk about it, a lot. And read books. And the other night when we were at our friend Amy & John's house, their almost 3 year old son had to go potty so I asked Chloe if she wanted to watch. (She did).

So tonight before her bath she sat on her potty and I brushed her teeth. When she stood up she said "I peed in the potty", and she did. First time. High fives all around.

Then she got into the bathtub and stood up and peed some more.

Happy Valentines Day

Chloe enjoyed Valentines Day. She got a singing Dora card and stickers from her Daddy and I got her a heart shaped cookie. Her friends Ella & Max dropped off a card and some leg warmers and dress up clothes!


Craig and I went to dinner at Three Doors Down and had a lovely meal.

Chloe's First Job

Chloe had been having a hard time at school. . pulling the hair of 2 other children and her teacher didn't know how to stop it. They had tried everything, until they came up with the "Gentle Hands Helper". Works miracles. The gentle hands help is responsible for making sure everybodys bodies are safe.

If only all or problems were solved so easily (although she did try to pull my hair and pinch my face this morning. . hmmm. . may need one for home too!).

Smart Girl

The past few nights when I have put Chloe to bed she has told me "I miss you when I go to sleep Mommy". How sweet is that!

Today Craig was lying on one of Chloe's toys. Chloe pulled it out from under his head and said "No, Daddy, that is MY toy". Craig responded "Well, this is my house!". To which Chloe responded, "No, it is OUR house". I couldn't stop laughing while Craig was shooting me daggers saying don't laugh.
