Easter

Chloe was so excited for Easter! She woke up pretty early Easter morning, but I told her it was not yet time to go downstairs . .and that she could snuggle in bed with me or play in her room for a bit. She said okay, and I went back to sleep.

Later, when she asked again if it was time to head downstairs, I said yes, but first she had to:
1. Get dressed
2. Do her morning tasks (turn off her nightlights, turn on her fish tank light, pull up her blinds)
3. Brush her teeth
4. Do 25 jumping jacks.

She did it all happily and then we went downstairs.

After she found her Easter basket and her eggs I thought something was up because:
1. She wasn't seeming too excited about the contents
2. One of her easter eggs was open and I couldn't imagine Craig opening it
3. She knew that the little accessories in the other eggs were for Polly Pockets, but had not yet found any Polly Pockets.

The clincher, however, was that something was missing from her Easter basket. So, I told her to go look in the bathtub again (where her basket was hidden), but it wasn't there. That was when I found it on the chair. When I asked her how it got there, she readily fessed up. She has snuck downstairs and found her Easter basket and eggs, looked through everything and then put them all back. Pretty funny!
